Studio South presents its latest youth theatre production, "You Only Live Once". Punctuated by powerful performances, humour and pathos combine in this thought provoking play that explores the thing we, all too often, take for granted.

Congratulations to all our talented and dedicated actors in this year's Mid-Year Showcase on the weekend. Each class brought to the stage their best and we are proud of the quality of their performances and the camaraderie that they showed to each other. We would also like to thank our parents for their continued support and positive feedback.

On Wednesday, January 24th, James and Rob conducted a two hour drama and vocal workshop with a Chinese children's television host and a small group of exchange students at the Sydney Opera House. Arranged through the Australia China Cultural and Professional Exchange, it was an absolutely fantastic experience meeting our Chinese guests and bonding through drama and song. The video focuses on the vocal component of the workshop where James is teaching the classic Australian song, "Botany Bay".

A powerful, confronting and emotional play that explores a world where the edges blur around what is real and what is fake, where the small is monumental and where everything in teenager's life is stretched and heightened beyond its reality. As much as anything, it is a play about the friends you have as a teenager before life takes you in new directions. Tickets $15.00 at the door. No advance bookings. Doors open at 7.45 Please note that the play contains adult themes, strong language and sexual references.
