About The Australian Lebanese Ladies Fund Inc.

The ALLF is non Religious, non Denominational and nonprofit organisation, dedicated to helping those in need both in Australia and Lebanon. It was inaugurated at het beginning of the Lebanese Civil War in 1975, to help alleviate the suffering, pain and poverty caused by the acts of war in Lebanon. The ALLF is a Registered Charity in New South Wales as well as in Lebanon. It was found under the auspicious of Mr Fraiji, who was the Australian Lebanese Consul at the time. His sister, Wadad Saloum, was elected as Patron. Over the years, the ALLF has helped many charities including orphanages, hospitals, schools, the handicapped, maimed and limbless, crippled children, nursing homes and the elderly, mostly in Lebanon, but also in Australia and still doing so after 43 years. Our functions are all focused on raising money to help support the poor, homeless and forgotten in our homeland, Lebanon. We host three charity functions annually, including Gala Days, Luncheon, Christmas lunch, High Tea, Bus Trips, etc, which also promotes friendships among the Lebanese community in Australia. We have donated hundred of thousands over the year and continue to do the same charitable work today. We are based in Sydney and meet regularly to organise our functions and to socialise. The ALLF is always happy to welcome and encourage new and enthusiastic Australian Lebanese women to join us.
