The Balgownie Hotel

My review relates to the function center.

My dad celebrated his 60th here in October 2017 and the service of the function staff was impeccable. Really warm and welcoming to all guests. Friendly throughout the night and the food was great.
The venue itself is comfortable and safe and the whole night went off without a hitch.

Would happily use this venue for future functions

Great food from this quite suburban pub. Beer on tap is crisp, clean and tidy with friendly staff.

Perfect place to take the family love the jumping castle, soloist and kids eat free on a Sunday! What more could you want !

Once this was a great pub, then Woolies bought it and now no one cares! (Bad manager) Great beer at times, problem is half the staff don't care or can't pour a descent head. Terrible food (always) no matter what you buy the quality of meals are below standard.

Great food and atmosphere. Court yard is nice.

Only tried here once but good old fashioned pub meals, although steak requested medium was well done, and great oldies live music!

Great venue for live music and good food

Stopped in her to watch the UFC on NYE while heading south. A little rough coming from Sydney but they let me drink beer and watch their TV so I have no complaints.
