The renovations are great. Service was polite and efficient. Food was great with a mixture of old favourites and new trends.
Visited the rooftop bar, was well presented and nice view. However the cocktails and drinks menu were average and the management had a very very poor attitude towards customers.
Nicely renovated old pub that I visit about monthly for lunch and drinks. Good tucker and drinks. Comfortable environment.
Staff are friendly, lovely atmosphere and view from the beer garden. However, the food let me down. I ordered the seafood chowder, which cost almost $20, and the soup part of the chowder was none existent because it was a lumpy jelly consistency and the seafood was mush. My partner ordered the steak burger, and the steak was overcooked and dry. The upside though, my other mates ordered a Caesar salad and a prawn pasta linguine which were very delicious.
Friday night Karaoke .....great fun to sit and watch, good atmosphere. The security was fantastic weeding out anyone who was too intoxicated with minimal fuss. The renovations look awesome a real credit to the owner in creating inner city hotel on the Peninsula
We arrived here from England today and i have to say you couldn't get anywhere more Australian. Really friendly welcome from the staff, the pub area was buzzing with so many people. Our room is lovely and big, on the ground floor. Very clean. Great balcony. Lots of facilities including a decent size fridge and very comfy beds. Would thoroughly recommend.
Actually not a bad place after the renos. Food is pretty good. The other pub options in Woy Woy are pretty dire, so this is heads and shoulders above the rest.
Peninsula is on the move to better establishments it would seem!

The pub has a lively vibe and friendly staff. I had dinner here and ordered the seafood chowder and it came in a small bread bowl and had a jelly-like consistency which was definitely not good. There was a good amount of seafood but was more like seafood mush than anything and for $20 I'll skip it next time.
This is one of the friendliest motels / hotels I've stayed at. The staff actually are really great people who make you feel like family, not just another visitor, I just re booked for two nights, lovely Emily went out of her way to be able to accommodate me, even though they are booked solid tonight!
The bar and restaurant was the place to be Friday night!
I've been in hospitality for 12 yrs, the staff, the customers, (even the ive had too much to drink peeps) the locals, the band, security, - A very well run hotel, the energy and atmosphere speaks for itself.
Thanks Bayview Staff, when your travelling solo, genuine friendly people, change lives and our daily experiences, without knowing.
This feels like I'm at home. Thank you
Great food and vibe. Outdoor area is great with view of the water. Beer selection is OK. Not tailored to craft beer drinkers but better than most pubs. Had a nice lunch out!
