Great food and music

The live music was great. Older crowd. Nice venue except for the steep sloping step at the front door. Could be an awesome venue except the wine was off and the owner wouldn't replace it. Not nice :(

Beautiful music, amazing staff. Anna took take of everyone on my table like it was her family. Amazing attention to detail by chef Kunal. Perfectly seasoned food with international influences. Great job guys

This tapas cum bar has some delicious and varied tapas. Combined with live music, and a cosy, rustic, chic bar feel, Blackout ticks most boxes. The menu easily satisfies both meat eaters and vegetarians. It is refreshing to see a chic bar pop on the north shore since there aren't many options like it. I can recommend the donuts, zucchini flowers, and calamari on the menu. They also have a fun and wide selection of cocktails. The live music is really great, a guy called Murray James really kept the place lively. The venue also features a full venue length bar. Service could have been a bit faster, but I think it was a new waiter – the waiter was very personable though, nice to chat to.

Such a confusing experience. Not sure if it was table service or not as we got our drinks order taken but was never approached for a food order. Made more strange given the fact we were the only customers. There were three of us and one of my friends didnt get to order before the bartender left to cook 2 of our meals leaving the service area un attended. So so strange

Amazing place!! Highly recommend - generous drinks and all the staff are really nice

Tiny little secluded bar situated in an unexpected location. Once you're inside though the place has a seductive vibe and low lights. Drinks are strong, food is good and the service is funny and friendly. More of a date or small group location rather than groups or solo.

Awful food overpriced and racing on tv! Bad atmosphere

User

The food is good, the alcohol is well presented and good quality, and the staff are accomodating and are happy to help. Only issues are that there seems to be not too much space, and as such it gets quite crowded very quickly. Also, the food is a touch on the expensive side - whilst it is very good!
I do recommend coming here, as it's hard to find good bars outside of the city in the North Shore!

A surprising venue to find on Sydney's north shore.

The bar makes delicious cocktails, plays pretty good live music and has a lot of potential to become a great north shore hideaway.

A surprise venue for East Lindfield with the most amazing ambiance and light bites. It is full of beautiful women, but all of them are married! The decor is WWII distressed bunker look, and you may be able to enjoy one of the local musicians if you are lucky.
