The Blue Goose Café

I've been here a few times and twice for lunch. Put simply the service is fast and friendly, the food is good and any requests always helpfully answered. It is also dog friendly.

My experience at the blue goose cafe was lower than expected. Firstly, my bacon was severely undercooked and overly fatty. I could practically hear the pig oinking! The eggs were dreadful and overcooked, I thought my tastebuds were deceiving me. The staff were rushed and seemed sloppy and anxious. Though, I do not blame them as I could hear the boss swearing at the workers, whilst my bacon was 'cooking'. I had to block my own ears as my Christian heart could not handle the vulgar language being spewed at the poor staff members. Also, the cushion seat at the back smelt of rotting fruit and I almost gagged it was horrendously putrid. Do NOT be expecting to see my face here ever again. I can't believe I payed for that overpriced, sorry excuse of a meal. Do NOT waste your money or your time or your hearing abilities on this so called 'cafe' ever again. I hope you go bankrupt

Great staff, delicious coffee and food with swift service. Would be 4 stars, but no EFTPOS in 2017 is madness.

Super nice staff and generous servings of tasty food. Well worth turning off the highway to stop in just for the pulled pork sandwich

We love this place. The food is just superb and is a visual delight as well. Very relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Seriously the best cafe in Gerringong. Have eaten there a dozen times and am yet to get a bad meal. Visited at various times of the day, weekdays or weekends and the service is pretty damn good for a popular eatery. I get really annoyed when I read scam reviews and wonder what motivates some people.
