Starting life in 1909 as The Imperial Hotel, The Thunderbolt Inn is an historic Victorian style hotel situated in the centre of Uralla, at the corner of the New England Highway and Thunderbolt's Way. The hotel received its current name in 1970, on the anniversary of the death of the gentleman bushranger, Captain Thunderbolt, who ruled the highways and byways of the New England district during the 1860s. Great counter meals daily, dining room is open seven days for lunch and dinner. In winter, the roaring fires create a warm homely atmosphere. Clean comfortable accommodation is available, including rooms with en suites. For the friendly flutter enthusiasts enjoy our TAB, Keno and poker machines or enjoy a round of pool with your mates.
