Only criticism - don't try to get too fancy with a bacon and egg role to take away. Plain bread rolls are much better then sweet girly buns.

This was really great. Better than chat noire in Terrigal for location for sure. Food was really good. Pork belly. Duck. Prawns. Oysters. All were way above casual fair. I totally rate this place for food and would come again for sure. Didn't have cheese or meat boards they looked OK but other stuff was tops.

Lovely location. Steak that melts in your mouth. With service to match.
Our 4th visit to the Box. And won't be the last. A must go to place.

Service was terrible, 25 minutes to take a drinks order another 15 minutes to take a food order and then all the food came at once and they did not want to take the mains back and only after kicking up a fuss did they offer to microwave our mains. The management was very dismissive about the issues when we raised them after.

Early start this morning to watch soccer semi final, finished off with a yummy coffee and banana bread. What a beautiful outlook.

Great location with beautiful water views, good food and helpful staff, but somewhat pricey in my opinion. Those with Diners or Amex cards will laugh at my viewpoint.

Had the tamarind snapper for two, with 2 plates of veges plus a drink each. Came in around the $100 mark. Quickly served, the food was imaginative, well prepared & with quality ingredients.
Now winter the venue was enclosed & rather noisy. Would probably be quieter on warm nights when all the door/windows can be opened to the waterfront view.
I only docked a star because wasnt enough tamarind for the fish, plus the peach cocktail I had, though tasty, didn't taste of peach. It's only obvious flavour was thyme. If wasnt driving would have tried more of the interesting cocktails

First impression- Wow! Great location. Staff friendly and knowledgeable on menu. Great location for any meals ! Food excellent. Short wait. Would be back here again. Worth the drive up from The Hills and even from Sydney.

Here right now...yum, yum, yum! Fresh, amazing menu, great wine...lovely staff too. Do yourself a favour & go here.

Consistently great service and food, looking over the water out to Box Head

Menu same as Two years ago. Dish didn't arrive as described on menu. Slow service
Will be much better when new restaurant opens across road maybe competition will improve menu???! Getting a bit tired of the Box.

This has become one of our favourite spots for lunch and afternoons before or after a stroll. It really has it all great food and drinks plus right on the water.
