Great local with delicious meals. We always sit upstairs as it has more of a relaxed restaurant vibe, while downstairs feels more like a modern version of the great Aussie pub. The food has always been good quality and reasonably priced and the staff have always been friendly.

Great atmosphere and a superlative vibe, embracing the old school pub with a modern mix, extensive menu options, a definite must do.

Very poor and inconsiderate customer service! I took a girl friend who was 7 month pregnant for dinner on Friday night. They noted down 2.5 people on the waiting list. We were kept at a little waiting table on side for more than half an hour. Worst part, it was until I approached the waitress then I noticed there were 3 groups below us were crossed out from the waiting list! Very disappointed with Beauna considering this was my favourite local pub.

No problems with the actual pub, but please remove any reference to craft beer. One tap with Goose Island Session IPA does not count.

Very over priced, not value for money...when you go to a restaurant like this and pay $50 for a main meal, a small portion of steak and a few leaves of watercress you don't expect included a $2 pack of macdonald style chips as part of the meal and covered in salt. These people are not in the business of serving great food that people will really enjoy or want to come back for. Not Value for money. Would l go back? Never! Would l recommend this restaurant? No! The two stars are for the service which was good but you need more than good service when you visit a restaurant.

Great food. Slick new renovation. Service could be more proactive and bubbly. Girls are good. The guys did not crack a smile. Chef was chatting to customers in the dining area - excellent. Free Wi-Fi....impossible to actually sign-in.

My sister and I took our elderly uncle out to lunch recently, but there were about 25 mums and babies eating upstairs also, taking up most of the tables in the shade and being a hot day, the middle tables in the sun weren't suitable. Nice vibe, but also hardly any gluten free options, which was surprising. Felt only geared to the young.

Went there for the first time since the renovation. The renovation is very well done and I'm sure the atmosphere will return after a while (pity the Keno and gambling is still there).

However the prices are pretty ridiculous. We were ordering a beer and glass of red wine which came to $20 each order. The wine was $13 a glass! This is the sort of price I would expect from a 5 star hotel, not a local pub. When you're paying just over $7 for a beer, and a glass of wine is almost twice as much?! Doesn't make sense.
