The Burdekin Association

The Burdekin Association provides support and accomodation options to children and young people (12-24) and their families in the Northern Sydney area.

The Burdekin Association is based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, providing support and accommodation options for children and young people and their families for the past 33 years. In the last 5 years alone, we have supported over 1800 young people who otherwise would be homeless.

We have a range of accommodation options to ensure children and young people have security and stability in their lives. We focus on their individual needs to develop a sense of self and a confidence in who they are, what they want to achieve and how they will do this.

Children and young people who have limited or no family support often require support into early adulthood to ensure they forever exit the welfare setting.

It is our aim to assist young people to achieve all their goals and this can take many years. Our outcomes indicate that we do this well.
