Classic small town bakery with a standard array of yumminess and then a few extra things. Their take on a vanilla slice has gone down in history in my family as a "custard burger" as it was so enormous and bursting with filling. Friendly people and a no-frills, cheerful little shop. Hope it stays around forever!
Have lovely pies an great customer services. Very friendly people. Glad there at my home town. My family love's there pies. From the trolley woman that always gives a tip. I think it's so cute some times they have there daughter working there. There is nothing wrong with that what so ever. Some people are just rude if it was a Ozzie little girl working there people wouldn't say anything. I always give the little girl a tip an she's so happy. She's a dear little girl. Why do some people have to be so nasty an negative for. Well I'm off there this morning. An get one of there yummy pies. Well my family is very happy no negative comments from us. That other person leave my home town we don't appreciate rudeness at Leura thank you...
YUCK! WASTE OF MONEY! Avoid at all costs!!!
This place relies on tourist customers that buy items on a once in their lifetime basis, because I guarantee you, customers will not return. Their food is really poor quality and tastes as though made with the cheapest ingredients. The place even cuts costs on wages as the Asian woman has her 8 (or so) year old daughter working at the register. I regretfully bought a spinach pastry which had black spinach with breadcrumbs as a filling and was extremely oily. Inedible that I threw most of it in the bin. I also bought a chocolate cookie which tasted like No Frills chocolate cake mix. Again, straight in the bin. Waste of money! Avoid at all costs!!!
