The Clarence 100 Description
This page is in place for the purpose of creating A BUZ and provide information to anyone who may be interested in experiencing a challenge over 3 days by paddling 100 km from Copmanhurst to Yamba on the Mighty Clarence River in Northern NSW
This is a Competitive / social paddle . Paddlers will need to be competent to last the distance within cut off times Its purpose is to showcase the Clarence Valley community and support its youth in sport initiatives. Open to anyone interested in paying homage to the Mighty Clarence River and those who enjoy the physical challenge this event offers.
Consisting of 3 stages over 3 days
Stage 1- Copmanhurst to Grafton - 40km
Stage -2 Grafton to Maclean - 40 km
Stage -3 Maclean to Yamba - 20km
Rest over night at local hotel accommodation between each stage.
When - 20th-22nd October 2017
Kayaks, Ocean /Spec ski, Outrigger, SUP all welcome.
