Out of all the coffee clubs, the blacktown one would have to be the best...I always enjoy my salmon eggs Benedict better here and the service is always a kind and polite experience.

Ordered a simple iced chocolate, was asked for icecream or whipped cream.. so i chose icecream. easy! but, out of a very LITTLE small size, or a very small large size, i chose the large. which mind you was $6.90 PLUS a .10c surcharge for eftpos which was then $7.10 for this rubbish.. so i got the """iced chocolate"" which was just a very very poor milkshake looking and tasting thing. the dollop of icecream was just floating in it (thinking of it now since when does icecream come in an iced chocolate?) and allllllll the chocolate syrup was done the very bottom. it tasted so damn cheap, the syrup tasted very faintly of chocolate and the icecream itself tasted disgusting. such a poor poor effect, no wonder they made it so quickly. this has happened once before with a chocolate milkshake, as in that it was poorly made but i decided to give them another go. Will not be returning.

The meals are always fresh and delicious although some of them are a bit expensive. I have been here often and am happy to recommend this cafe.

Great food, the service was just as good as other coffee clubs and staff very friendly. Quick and cheap compared to similat cafes.

Coffee is no good, service is non-existence, food takes forever to come. For what you are getting, the price is too too expensive. Won't go again.

The food here can be rather nice, depending on what you order. However in my experience the serving sizes are too small for the price, and what you'll get at the other cafe's in the centre.

Just had what I thought was a healthy breakfast of mashed avocado with feta and a poached egg. Avocado was so awful, runny like oil. I had to enquire what was put in it. BEWARE apparently it comes out of a packet Yuck

I am not sure if this is a trend at The Coffee Club that you won't be treated, as a customer should be, when you walk in to order. The high attitude and snub behaviour is just stupid. I would have rated 1 but just because the food was better than Hornsby branch i have given a star extra. Expensive and not worth going.

Average in presentation, taste and healthiness. A little overpriced. Will not come back for food.

Below average food and coffee IMHO. But I don't like any Coffee Club, so take that into consideration.

Great food as always, but sooo slow!! Took 15 minutes before they even took the order. Then it took another 35 minutes for club sandwiches and burgers!!

Treated my partner to a hot choccy and a cake tonight and was very pleased with the service. I never write reviews but tonight we were surprised by the team at coffee club. It is refreshing to be served by staff who genuinely "look after" their customers.

Paid 19 dollars for an eggs Benedict. After I had paid server proceeded to hand me one napkin fork and knife before I sat down?

Food came and the quality was appalling. The spinach came as 5 uncooked leaves, thin slice of salmon on two slices of white bread and a terrible thick sauce. Server was also extremely rude and didn't answer me when I asked for napkins.

They need to up their food standards and service.

Saturday Counter service could smile. Did not understand simple order. Had to get someone who did not smile. Coffee better elsewhere. More expensive than most places

We went for toasties and coffee at 4:30 on a wednesday afternoon. We were unsure whether they were open because all the people sitting were in one side of the area. We went to order and the staff member behind the counter did not greet us and as we started our order she picked up her phone then walked into the kitchen area then came back and pretended like she didn't just ignore us. Our coffees took way too long and we could see that as the staff member was making our coffee she was having a casual conversation between other members of staff and a random young woman. The coffees were alright, mine (mocha with almond milk) was really good but my mums flat white was very average. The staff member who brought our food was obviously sick and although we did not see her cough on or near our food, the staff member was coughing all over the tables, and wasn't covering her mouth.
The price paid was not worth what we had

Went for breakfast and the tables were dirty, food took a long time to be served, two friends entirely finished their disgustingly presented meals before the others had even been brought their food. Food was cold and an excuse for the delay was "we ran out of hashbrowns" which we had to ASK to be reimbursed for. Whilst standing in line to complain, two others were also complaining about cold food etc. No remorse or outstanding customer service. All other franchises are better. Pathetic and disgusting food and customer service.

Very busy little store. Have been on a number of occasions. Coffee standards vary with each visit. Today's was good. However order was mixed up.

Served us w/ a chipped edged glass.. and the Nacho meal is not a good value (not fresh).. go Salsa's instead.

I have tried several times to enjoy my very expensive food and coffee at Hornsby coffee club but unfortunately each time I walk away wishing I had never handed over $20.40 for a blt with a bottle of water. The BLT had no tomato on it and the lettuce was brown with very little green and still had the rock hard core on it. On a positive note the bottle of waster was cold and wet.

Convenient cafe located inside Westfield Hornsby. I enjoy their almond croissants and hot chocolates. Their service is quite efficient. Their prices are quite expensive but I guess they have high running costs.

$10.95 for this sorry excuse for smashed avocado. What a rip off!

Coffees are quite good here but are way overpriced. My large soy latte was a whopping $5.90. The MOST I have paid for the same order anywhere else before this place was $4.50. I would have walked out if I hadn't been pressed for time. The bathrooms are also very dirty and have no hand towels or dryer. The interior is dark and unattractive. Considering the large number of cafes in the city, I'd go somewhere else.

Perfunctory chain place. I'm sure it's a decent little spot for a quick breakfast or lunch (if you're a tourist). There are plenty of better places around.

Just what you would expect from a Coffee Club. Nice staff, good coffee and the breakfast was also very nice.

Best breakfast in Sydney so far. Friendly staff, great coffee and every meal at our table looked amazing and we were 6 people in and out in an hour. So perfect for a business breakfast reward.

Once upon a time in down town new dehli. I ordered a jack daniels and ginger ale and they brought me out an empty glass. I said to them i ordered a jd and ginger ale so they brought me out a bottle of sparkling water and said they didn't have ginger ale. So i asked for sprite instead of ginger ale and yet again they brought over sparkling water. I had to describe to them what a sprite bottle looked like and they finally brought it. My friend also ordered an eggs benny and they gave him the big breakfast. As we were they leaving they had the ordasity to ask me to pay 7.90 for the bottle of sprite that took them 35 mins to bring to me and 5 other drinks later.

Extremely horrible service! Waited for my take away meal and coffee for 30 minutes. The owner also was very rude. This was the worst experience and won't be going back. Do not waste your money and time here!

Being surrounded by dirty tables presents a frightening thought of how clean the food prep area is!

If I have to clean my own table, wait 40 minutes to find out they hadn't started my meal yet? I'm not recommending this place to anyone.

Save yourself the food poisoning and stay away.

No teaspoon with our tea. They forgot to bring our Ginger Beer. We waited forever for our food. Very poor service.

Overpriced is a simple way to put it. When ordering a burger that comes with chips, you don't expect the portion of chips to be the same size as the burger. It was so small, I could hold it with 1 hand and have no trouble at all. I paid $19.95 for this (added avo, basically a swipe of avo on there). I've been to several coffee clubs in NSW, most have been a wonderful experience. Charlestown's would have to be the worst. I wouldn't care to pay a high price for quality, but, it was barely par. I've been there 3 times over a period of 2 years, I don't go often due to continuous lack of standards plus, there are better establishment to dine at. Try grill'd, better priced, better quality and you won't be left with a poor excuse for a burger.

Where do I start.
First of all, I waited 20 minutes for a coffee? Second I was charged for another that I did not order and once I had stated I didn't order it, it was taken from me and I was not offered a refund or the coffee back! I then waited a further 15 minutes for food that was fairly average and overpriced for what I received.

50 cents extra for take away coffee. Never heard anything similar before. Nice ambience, but coffee (latte) wasn't that great.

Never listern. Orders are wrong and 1 out of 4 orders are late. Stopped going here because of this. Back for another chance still no better. Food is ok though

Waited forever! Ordered the Asian Calamari Salad. They forgot the dressing which I had to go back and ask for then halfway through realised they also missed the capsicum and the deep fried shallots. Basically same salad my husband had with salt and pepper calamari. Cutlery unavailable at counter so waited again while a waitress went to get some. Uncleared tables all around us. Overall very, very poor in every way. Usually very happy with Coffee Clubs.

My daughter and I meet here every Friday to catch up and have breakfast. There has been times that the staff haven't been the friendliest (and I wouldn't have great things to say about the food) but my 5 stars are for the young lady that served us today. Montana is friendly.. helpful and when she saw that we were finished eating she asked if we wanted anything else.. coffee etc. I don't normally bother writing a review but today's experience was excellent because of Montana's attitude to her job

The coffee was the only decent thing here. Scrambled eggs were overcooked, pancakes were dry and the smashed avacado must have come from a tube and had a funny taste. The staff were friendly but they really need to lift their game in the kitchen.

Had to wait almost an hour for my order and was disappointed with a chip that was still frozen.

Coffee was OK. Asked for French toast " waitress quoted me back fruit toast " No french toast . Order came up with my eggs and avo and you guessed it Fruit toast !
Asked for French toast , waited ten minutes with my dish getting cold , asked where FT was , another 2 minutes , 5 minutes later , French toast arrived .
No free coffee offered for balls up .We wont be back again !

Very disappointing. Food arrived so late and we had to walk up to one of the staffs to ask them to take orders for us. The food didnt even look close to what it was shown in the picture. The food was also missing incredients and the chicken was so dry that it even looked like bacon. They also forgot to put avocado in the food. We complained and waited for a new one. In the mean time, the other food we ordered arrived and until we finish it, the first food they took away didnt come back, and when it fianlly came, it had some avocado pieces but was missing brie cheese this time. the food was still so cold and dry. Such a horrible experience.

Avoid this place like the Milat's garden shed. The only thing worse than the service is the food, which seems to be something to endure rather than consume.

Very disappointed. Went for breakfast Sunday morning - 3 adults and near 2 year old.
It is advertised as a full service establishment but after about 10 minutes we had to find somebody to take our order. We then got the drinks and one breakfast order. We waited with an increasingly impatient infant for the other orders, eventually we asked what had happened and after checking we were told another 2 minutes. Ten minutes later our breakfasts did arrive. By this time our grandson had lost interest. The whole process took nearly an hour, without our grandson we would have walked out.
When I complained I was told that the server would tell the manager - definitely one to avoid.

Found a worm in my smashed avo, a real big live one, to the point I was about to puke, store manager wasn’t there, the supervisor apologised but this is not acceptable!
The bacon was like stiff and sausage on the big breakkie was too salty.
Overall do not recommend this one at all!

One size fits all! Get F**ked. No one tells me what size coffee to drink. Plus the staff may not be legal. Immigration should be called to investigate.

Have come here for breakfast a few times. Never disappointed. Had the eggs benedict with smoked salmon and grilled halloumi bruschetta. The former was the better dish IMO. Coffee was good as always.

This cafe is one of the best in the area. It's run so efficiently and everything is always consistent.
Food is great and service is excellent and coffee is amazing!
I've been to other coffee clubs but they don't seem to come close to the standard of this one. Hats off to the way this place is managed!

Ordered a medium latte, without doubt one of the worst coffees I have had in my entire life. Tasted like warm tasteless milk, milk was horribly frothed. Would rather drink instant coffee than go back. Cheers

Bought 2 breakfasts using only the 'sides' on the menu because we are Vegans .. owner gave us 10% discount because can be expensive buying breakfast that way.
Have been to other Coffee Clubs and they did not discount. Good people ... and coffee was nice !!

Order a cup of capucino and orange almond cake, but the portion of the cake is not the same size as the one on the display which is thinner. Dissapointed

The coffee was good (although would have been nice to be asked small or tall instead of just giving me the tall) but their cooks just can't do eggs. Our order docket specified runny yolks for both poached (a must) and the sunny side up but what we got was solid. Very disappointing. And this isn't the first time. While they do an ok priced breakfast it isn't always done the way you want. Nor do they offer a discount/complimentary drink when they stuff up. A "sorry for that" doesn't really cut it.

The pancakes I had were excellent, but the staff had a really bad attitude, which means I will never go there again on principle.

Had the big breakfast which was pretty good but a bit expensive.

Bought a medium cappuccino(takeaway) at 1pm, it is not coffee because there is no coffee flavor at all. Saw the staff frothing full jug of milk for couple of order in less 30 seconds. I would have returned to complain if had not carrying shopings. Never go back.

I ordered a chai latte with almond milk and it was less than exceptional. They use a chai syrup that has a strange after taste and isn't very good. They've also been known to short me on coffee shots in the past, so make sure you're getting what you pay for.

Good selection on menu, staff friendly when taking order at counter. Prompt service with my soft drink. Room for improvement in the time we had to wait for the 2 dishes I ordered. At tyhe 35 min mark asked where our 2 dishes were and the staff asked if ee had been informed there's a delay as tgey have been busy. Waited another 10 mins. We were very close to leaving and asking for refund. Good that aknowledged issue and apologised but pls dont over apologise which they did. After the wait got out meals and they were fine. Experienced spoiled sadly by the wait. Look forward to seeing this improve.

Friendly staff but my coffee was bitter and flat, need better baristas

Service was helpful and friendly but they garnished my food with yellowed spotted rocket obviously not fresh. When brought to their attention most of the staff pointed fingers elsewhere and ducked for cover. Considering the cost for half a sandwich it was not good enough.
