The Conservation Hut

It was nice place to rest and eat after a Great walk..The food was lovely and the staffs were absolutely very lovely.

Food quality was nice, good location and service was good too.

Food was good and fast. Alittle on the pricy side. The tea was great and not from a packet. Unless they dumped several packets into the pot.

Gorgeous spot for the Sunday brunch/lunch after a long walk. Views are tremendous if it's a clear day.

A place to relax and grab some food and drink after a long walk, or to start your walk from (especially if driving as there is a car park here), providing good access to the cliff walks, National Pass trail, and Valley of the Waters (and the various waterfalls). The outside seating doesn't catch the sun much so it can be a litte chilly and it can get fairly busy, but there are picnic benches outside the hut confines if you've brought your own food.

After a long hike, the Turkish bread roasted sandwiches really hit the spot. Hot and tasty.
It was a busy day, maybe extra staff would have saved us the 45 min wait for the food to arrive. Some scrubbing of the outside of the free chilled water might help with presentation (it just looked dirty, and I don't agree with the staff saying it was just the design of the glass bottle) that's my honest, constructive feedback!

Perfect location, food took quite awhile( a busy long weekend). Not a gourmet restaurant but the food was nice enough as well as being reasonably priced, especially after a 3 hour bushwalk. Considering how busy it was, the service managed to stay friendly and helpful.

If you are walking in the area the only alternative is to walk back to your car and drive for at least 10 minutes.

If at a table outside the view is just incredible.

Food is ok. We waited an hour until our meals arrived at lunch time. Service was slow. There's also a 10% surcharge on weekends. If you're in a small group, I'd recommend simply stopping here for a coffee as you're likely to get a spot on the balcony or near the window.

Stay away. They are rude. You can not joint 2 tables for 7 people. Thats a policy as Manager told me. There was no people around. For a normal business its not a problem but here it is. Weird customer service.

a good starting point for the hiker who wanna do the wentworth falls area. there's parking here, but might be full during the holiday. we did a national pass circuit, which took us 4 hrs, easy walk.

The views are spectacular. The food and coffee are fine and functional (hot and tasty) but are not the reason for visiting. Sit out on the balcony and take in the scenery.
