Today’s lunch class Pies & Tarts - Moroccan lamb pie with a little lamb & hay bails pastry garnish to honor our farmers. We love our #maggiebeer sour cream pastry it’s a winner every time used for both savory & sweet. It’s a classic that every time we roll this pastry out in a class we get at least one map of Australia 🇦🇺- well after all this pastry comes from a “cooking legend”. It’s delicious, slightly crumbly but so super easy to make. Last pic is using a glass to sit loose based tarts onto to release the tin from the cooked pastry. #cookingclass #southernhighlands #pies #pastry #cookingtime

TUESDAY’s TIP : When making ‘mash' for best results cut peeled potato into large chunks as even as possible so they cook well. Last night my husband and I spent my birthday evening with a group of strangers cooking Mexican Street Food! We had never been to a cooking class before so we had no idea what to expect!

It was FABULOUS!

Anna is the most wonderful story teller, and her passion for food and its heritage is inspiring. I could not have imagined a better way to spend the evening. We met new people, made new recipes, ate delicious food, with lots of laughter! Thank you Anna for such a special night. We will be back!
