Welcome to your friendly neighbourhood Canteen!

We are The CRTHS Canteen, a recognised and innovative leader in school based nutrition and wellbeing. We are open for breakfast, morning tea and lunch 5 days a week, offering the students and staff of CRTHS exciting, freshly made and nutritious food at an affordable price.

Our menu is innovative and fresh and constantly evolving. We focus on local food that is developed and made onsite by our chef. We actively encourage healthy eating habits and are always looking at ways to improve our menu to better suit the nutritional needs as well as satisfying the tastes of our customers. We are proud to be fully compliant with the new NSW Healthy Eating Strategy, exceeding all baseline requirements.

Our facility is constantly changing and growing as we strive to provide CRTHS with the best canteen offerings available. To date we have introduced a revitalised menu, a cafe serving some of the best coffee around, EFTPOS capabilities, expanded our catering offerings and most recently offering a mobile canteen option for smaller schools. In addition to our growing canteen, we give opportunities for students to be more actively involved in the hospitality industry. Whether it be through serving at lunch, barista training of a morning or hands on cookery experience during catering events. Our partnership with the school community is a strong and important one which we aim to foster with our extra-curricular opportunities.
Currently underway is the development of our cafe environment, headed by the CAPA department and involves students from across the school designing and creating a new, welcoming space. Stay tuned for updates.

The CRTHS Canteen is a recognised provider of WftD activities and we have successfully built our workforce by engaging with the community and providing a viable and welcoming work placement program. In addition to this we encourage our school community of parents to volunteer with us. It's a great way to be more involved with the school and requires no commitments beyond what you're prepared to give.
