Really good steak, in moderate portions. The wine list is way too young though and reasonably punchy. Service was great. Nice spot, would return for a quick dinner but not the place to settle for a long steak and red wine session.

Steak was fantastic, but wine very variable. One glass vinegar, and big difference between two glasses of the same wine. Service was great.

Terrible experience. Booked a table for for eight people for a birthday celebration . Upon entering there was a foul smell already in the venue .

Apart from that rude and unprofessional service, (they got the orders wrong and took all the food we ordered from the table once it was served just because we got served something extra by their mistake) the food was the worst part.

I can't even begin to describe how much they are ripping off people . Tastless food, horrible textures, confused cuisine combinations, bad presentation and terrible value.

They should shut this place down.

Really good steak! Definitely worth the visit if you're looking for a classy dining experience. The door handles on the gents is pretty cool as well.

The previous menu was way better. The current menu is missing creativity. The recipes are very basic. I ordered lamb both the time I visited The Cut. The lamb I had in the beginning of this year was probably one of the best lamb dish I have ever had. The Lamb dish I ordered this time around during our visit last Friday, was just alright. It had nothing special in the dish. It was just a piece of lamb grilled.
The waiter who served us was so lost. We were 8 of us and he forgot to take the order from one person all together. He forgot to serve the wine in time and had to be reminded. He served us 2 ciders instead of 1. He had no clue which piece of lamb is served or any details on any other dishes we asked him about. We had nothing to expect after all that.
We would love for the previous menu to be back or atleast to have a mix of both menu. The lamb dish from the previous menu was to die for! Mushrooms served as sides was so delicious! I was in such excitement until I found out that the menu has been changed and the new dish is no where compared to the previous one I had beginning this year.
Nevertheless the desserts were really good! All of us loved our desserts we ordered. Passionfruit mousse was so delicious! The best I have ever had.

Excellent setting, with a dark and moody feel to the place - great background music and attentive (but not overly so) wait staff. Our group had the signature dish which everyone appreciated the theatrics of it being wheeled around on a fancy meat trolley (quite cool if you are the carnivorous type).

Very Expensive to start off.
The Chef paraded their famous 4hr slow roast beef. WE ordered it!
It arrived cold, unseasoned and without the Jus. All sides had to be bought separately.
They apologised and took the steak away and brought it back just lukewarm and by then it went past the medium rare.
desert came with no accompaniments, a little bit of cream to go with the mouse would be nice.
We will not go back there again
Had better steak elsewhere and where the steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection and way cheaper

Tried to overcharge us by almost two hundred dollars. We had 16 in our group but the bill was for 18. Service was Almost none existent. Waited half an hour before someone took the order and another hour for the food. Meat wasn't consistent, most of my mates ordered the slow cooked rib. some got over cooked cuts while others were really bloody even though all of them were ment to be medium rare. Those who ordered the steak got weird shaped stakes with one side thinner and more cooked then the other side. Obviously the team doesn't know how to run a proper restaurant, the place wasn't even full. For the price it was not worth it, all my friends left a little disappointed.

I have eaten at this restaurant a while ago. I beg to differ against the previous posts regarding the sluggish service (drinks arriving after 20 mins). I would personally not give 1 stars based on service alone. I was always in reach of the assistance of one of their staff who were on point. Their signature steak was delicious, fragrant and mouthwatering. I would definitely come back again to try the other premium cuts.

I was a little frustrated about not being able to reach the restaurant so I walked to the restaurant since I was nearby and gave a bit of attitude. I got an old fashioned to settle the mood and open the taste buds and I was in heaven from there. The food was delicious, steak was very well cooked and a fantastic cut, the wine (2013 Rockford ‘Rod and Spur’ Shiraz Cabernet) was a perfect choice and thankfully was available by the glass. The dessert was fantastic and really finished everything off well.

It wasn't a small bill for one but it was definitely a fantastic experience and I would definitely go back again. Thank you for a great night.

Ordered the surf and turf. Steak was amazing but lobster was very tough and dry. Would definitely go back and order the steak only. Worthy of a 5 star only for the steak order

Had an enjoyable experience here on a romantic night out. The staff was very knowledgeable about its' wines and steak pairings. Had the wagyu new York steak strip and for my first time trying wagyu steaks I fell in love. So much flavor and tenderness. Not as romantic of a spot as I had thought since there are a lot of post work people their but we still had an enjoyable time.
