The Dumpling Inn

Ordered the won ton noodle soup and some steamed pork dumplings and won't do it again. The broth was completely flavourless and won tons and dumplings both tasted really odd. Not the flavoursome wintery dinner I had in mind.

Ordered schezuan chilli beef and received sweet and sour, when we notified them they were adamant that it was infact chilli beef... Despite there being no chilli in the dish...We used to go at least once a fortnight but that was the last time we will visit... Waiter and owner V. Grumpy, chef was bawling her eyes out whilst on the phone at a table in the restaurant, was a bit like Fawlty towers....Never again

best Chinese this side of the harbour - food very good, but check your account - we were overcharged $11 - someone can't add up!
At the date of writing this review, we haven't contacted the dumpling Inn but intend to show them the docket when next we go again - the food is that good.

The most vile food experience ever.
I ordered take away duck pancakes. I was picturing succulent duck with a delicious plum sauce and fresh pancakes. Instead what arrived was a mutilated hunk of meat which has a purple/green/silvery coating! Disgusting! It was so repulsive to look at and was so obviously not fresh I couldn't bring myself to taste it. The pancakes came wrapped in shrivelled melted plastic from going in the microwave. The plum sauce was a joke. It was from a bottle and something cheaper than ayams. The curry puffs were obviously bought frozen. They were also more Indian samosa style curry puffs than Chinese. These were extremely oily and after eyeing the duck I couldn't stop picturing how disgusting their deep fryer must be. I normally eat anything but this was a joke.
