The Epping Club

I thought we were miserable on arriving with a teething 7 month old but we were rather upbeat and happy in comparison to the 2 staff in the bistro. We’ve been here over an hour now and neither of them have cracked a smile, they are quite hostile and ordering food makes me me feel like I’m putting them out. We asked for a high chair and thanked the waitress as she brought it out but she had a sour look on her face & walked off in a huff. On a positive note the welcome in was lovely by the gent near the door and reception area. It was exciting coming in to a grand and beautiful entrance and having a friendly face guide us. Such a shame that the warm welcome ended the moment we came into the bistro. Food is very average and over priced. I returned my padsiew with chicken it was a microwave job and the chicken was stale.

Went there for a wedding reception. Was close to the station, well maintained and sizeable, good service and had a nice atmosphere.

The Epping Club is truly a 5 star club. The staff are 5 star and this is one of the very best clubs for everyone to enjoy. Impeccable manners and service. The staff are extremely well trained and the food deliciously served to suit every visitor & member. You professionally welcomed. Lovely people

Great place for conferences, functions or just popping in with the family for a casual dinner. Handy little gym, pleasant staff. It's a terrific, multi-purpose club

Attended a party here. A very nice venue for parties. The food was catered by an outside provider so can't comment on what's served by the club itself.

I had my daughters wedding . The food tasted was very good. But the wedding day it was horrible. We come to know the Chef who was there left 2weeks ago. Food is the important .There were other issues, we wrote to them the responsible was not satisfied. Except the food DJ & MC , decorations, cake was good.

Great venue great staff great dining. if you aren't a member street parking can be a nightmare especially on a Friday night

Great bistro here, the food was great at a good price. Lots of entertainment options. Toilets are nice and clean. Staff very friendly. Nice decor, good for groups and smaller gatherings.

The venue is lovely visually, but the staff are quick to remove ppl.
They unfairly asked an important member of our wedding to leave because he was bringing drinks from downstairs upstairs. This is apparently not allowed, and when he pointed out that he'd been doing it all night and had no idea he shouldn't be an argument ensued with the security quick to defend themselves.
They asked him to leave and shocked he pleaded with them to allow him back upstairs, happy to leave the drinks.
They wouldn't budge and threatened to call the police if he didn't leave immediately.
I repeat, this person was an important part of our wedding and they did not care at all and had him removed for no reason other than questioning why he couldn't, and why he had been able to bring drinks upstairs for the better part of the evening.
Unbelievable and very upsetting to us .
