The water view rooms are fantastic. The recent renovation has really improved the whole experience.

Excellent one night stay, clean comfortable and opens out onto a private balcony, was not able to get the ocean views rooms, maybe next time.

Clean rooms and bathroom. Well maintained, great view of the lake with the sun setting. Easy access to parking. Close to the local shops. Only thing i struggled with is the WiFi.

Very comfortable bed, nice shower, and all in all a good place to stay. It was easy to get to and didn't have an issue finding a park for my car.

You should book in advance and you may be required to pay a $10 deposit per head, so plan in advance. Next, Fukusui is easy to miss! Keep your eye out for a little parallel side street with the Esplanade Motel on it. That's where to go. The restaurant is upstairs and it may take you a moment to find it. Once there, you're quickly seated and while you wait for your chef (depending on the meals you've selected) you are given salad, miso soup and sake. Then, the fun begins. At first, our experience was a little slow, but things quickly escalated as the dishes cooked. Be prepared to catch. Sometimes with your mouth and don't wear anything you wouldn't mind getting dirty. This is classic teppanyaki! They have a good selection of local and overseas products at the bar too. They do not split bills. Tell your group to bring cash. Their website has the menu so people should use that as a guide :) I'll go back!
