2017 AUSTRALIAN FISH & CHIPS AWARDS FINALIST!

The Fishbox & Co is an all new Fish & Chipper located in the historical waterside suburb of Carss Park.

Establisehed in 2016 The Fishbox & Co was founded by Chef John Cacic and graphic designer wife, Diana.

John, born and raised in Hobart grew up with quality Australian seafood. “Some of my greatest memories from growing up in Tasmania involved family, friends and seafood! Picking mussels off the rocks and cooking them on the beach or catching flathead off the pier. A family feed of fish & chips was all part of a great day out”.

After more than 10 years leading the kitchen of a busy seafood restaurant in the CBD, John decided to take his passion for Australian seafood to Sydney’s waterside suburb of Carss Park.

Finding a lack of restaurant quality fish & chippers, John & Diana set out to create a fish & chipper with seriously great food in a laid back and comfortable interior which draws on the relaxed classic style of the hamptons.

Featuring a unique menu including beer battered fish & chips, burgers, lobster fritters, po’boys, mushy peas, chowder and much more, The Fishbox & Co will have you hooked and loving this new style of fish and chipper in Sydney's south!
