Welcome to Central Coast Grassfed.

We are Tim and Hannah and we are excited to share our delicious grass fed beef and lamb with you that we grow and produce in the beautiful Yarramalong Valley on the Central Coast, NSW.

We think it is important to farm in a sustainable manner to ensure the future of farming in our area for generations to come. We utilise agronomists (soil scientists) to make sure that our pasture has all of the nutrients that it needs to produce a wide variety of delicious, nutritious grasses for our cows to eat. We are lucky enough to receive plenty of rainfall here on the Central Coast, which is the secret to our green, luscious pasture. We also don't use any hormone growth promotants or antibiotics.

The beef that you will receive comes from young steers and heifers at approximately 10 months old, so you can be sure that your beef will be tender and flavoursome - not from old cows. Using younger animals is also better for the environment - less methane and greenhouse gasses are produced.

Animal welfare is our absolute top priority - we respect our cows and always handle them in a gentle manner. When it comes to their one bad day, we use a local small abattoir that we know treats our animals with the respect that they deserve. We also utilise the whole animal: hide, bones offal and all!

We love supporting local business and use a local butcher to cut up and portion all of the meat.
