The Friendly Inn Hotel

Quite highly priced pub food but its very good quality. A beautiful old pub located right in the heart of Kangaroo Valley town centre.

Pretty pricey, but food was tasty! The Barramundi was delicious, but not super healthy as there was a ton of butter. The place feels a like a biergarten, lots of outdoor tables and good beer. Lots of kid-friendly playgrounds, toys, and games as well.

Authentic Aussie pub - hasn't been trendified for the tourist market. Food a bit uninspired but you can't beat the garden bar on a warm day. Quirky decor, definitely worth a day trip.

Clearly popular for the locals. Hard to get a seat however there was a popular game on the TV. Food took a reasonable amount of time. A classic pub with big servings and a local vibe

Had a weekend stay in town. We decided to check out the local pub in Saturday night. Had the best night. A local band was playing. Both staff and local patrons really live up to the name, the Friendly Inn.

Been going here for years when staying in Kangaroo valley. A little pricey, but the remote location justifies the cost. Food is great too 👍

For anyone interested in vintage motorcycles....make sure you head over to the used book 'house' a few doors down from the Inn. I scored a 1952 edition of "The Motorcyclist" with a James on the front cover. Same bike as is sitting in front of the Inn. There were stacks of magazine from the 50's and up.

They truly are the Friendly Inn. We were there with our screaming inconsolable daughter recently and the proprietor offer to take her up to their private residence where it was cooler and they had kids TV for her to watch. It did the trick. They went above and beyond. Lovely people. The food and drink is good, a great beer garden out the back and free video games for th kids. Can't ask for more!
