Went here for a quiet brunch on my wife's birthday, first time here as new to the area. We were greeted nicely and took a seat. We ordered and that went fine although the staff seemed a little confused as to whether it was brunch or lunch menu time. I could see our order on the shelf after being cooked but the waitress was elsewhere and didn't come for ages. I suspected we'd be eating cold food but the chef saw it hadn't been delivered for too long and threw it out and made a fresh batch. Giving 4 stars due to the chef saving the day. The food was really nice, looking forward to trying the scones with the clotted cream next visit.
