Your secluded retreat, perfect for a weekend getaway or longer to explore the mountains and wineries, just 90 minutes from Sydney CBD, but a thousand miles from care. On 140 acres of pristine bush, surrounded by the Wollemi National Park, you will hear nothing but the birds when you wake. Then breakfast in your private courtyard on organic fruit juice, bacon with our eggs, toast or croissants with our homemade jams, followed in summer by a dip in the 16m infinity pool, or in winter snuggle up in front of the wood fire roasting our chestnuts. If you are feeling energetic there is bushwalking on the hiking trails on your doorstep, kayaking on the Colo River nearby, horse-riding, venture off to visit the Hunter Valley wineries just 1 hour's drive away, explore the history of nearby Hawkesbury district or visit the orchards and gardens of the Lower Blue Mountains.
Two double bedrooms, with luxurious linen and your choice of firm, medium or feather-down pillows able to accommodate up to 4 adults. Sitting and dining areas with Scandinavian wood-fired heating and ceiling fans, plus flatscreen TV and DVD /CD players with music (from Michael Buble to Blondie or Bach) and film library to your taste or choose from the selection of books. Kitchen is fully equipped and provided with English or continental breakfast - homemade jams from our fruit trees, eggs from our chickens provided for you to enjoy seated in your sunny, walled courtyard, on your back patio overlooking the valley or near the pool. Plus BBQ and expresso machine for the caffeine needy. Complimentary bottle of local Hunter Valley wine on arrival. Undercover parking available for 2 cars.
