Was going to let this slide by quietly, however, a lovely couple who are frequent visitors to The General Merchant dropped this card into us today. You see it is 1 year today that we opened the doors to The General Merchant. We would like to thank all our many customers from the last year for your patronage. Just had a couple of requests for our latest menus, so took a couple of pics to post. Included are our breakfast, lunch, dinner and grazing plates menus. Also a pic of our new lunch specials board

At The General Merchant this week. On Monday (until all gone) get a free Anzac biscuit with every coffee. (Feel free to make a contribution to our Legacy tin on the bar) Monday is ribs night from 5 pm and Tuesday is Gyoza night again.

I was very disappointed with our meals and service. Our burgers were not cooked and still red and our lasagne had no pasta sheets just a bowel of mince and cheese on top. I did inform staff at the time but no one cared about it. With such a beautiful place please listen to the reviews and try and fix some problems. It would be ashame to have these problems ongoing.
