“The Sad Guys” would be more fitting name for this store. ILLEGAL bait advertisement is used, so consumer be aware and ring the store beforehand to ensure they have the product readily available before purchasing. I had to pick up one product from their store, even thou I purchased home delivery. They lied to me about the delivery time, so I wasted over half of my Saturday waiting around for nothing. I purchased my other items from JB Hi-Fi ($3,500), their gain, ‘The Sad Guys’ loss.

NSW regional manager needs to look at this post and the previous reviews posted here and take serious action.

Great store, huge range and always happy to price match. I have been here several times now and I always have a good experience.

Samsung fridge came with a scratch .. Concierge Service advised cosmetic issue therefore store is responsible .. store is saying Samsung not responding to get it fixed I'm stuck in the middle having to chase it up with no follow up ... poor service would not go back !

Store good size and range of products looked good. Unfortunately service was terrible. Approached assistant in heating/cooling section to enquire about dehumidifiers. Assistant had absolutely no knowledge of stock, I asked if I could speak to someone else, he said no. Took 15 minutes to be told about the 3 models available (information I already knew from a 2 minute google search before entering store). No models in stock. Disappointing service for a customer ready to spend over $500 in the store. Don't waste your time, go to another store.

Fantastic service and assistance by Shane S today. Nothing was a bother and fielded all questions with a smile and expertise. Very approachable, courteous and made it a pleasure to shop at this Good Guys store. Thank you Shane, much appreciated.

Bought a brand new Fisher & Paykel 10kg washer from GG Penrith NSW. Washer worked for a few days then over the next couple of washs started with the 'out of balance' and then other error codes. Next came faint smoke out of the bowl along with an obvious smell of burnt electronics/plastic. Contacted F & P 6 times over the next week and found the staff unable to read a calander, inexperienced and hopeless. First call resulted in a warantee service call booked for 2nd March (3 week wait). Second call same result. Third call when the machine started smoking was told that an emergency service would occur the next day before noon. Waited till 2 pm and called F & P. Was told appointment was not for the the next day but rather the 23rd of March (we already had a 2nd of March booking from earlier that they could not find????!!!!). etc., etc., etc.. I offered to pay for a local appliance service guy to have a look/fix the machine if F & P agreed to refund me - response was NO. I even offered to take the machine to F & P service centre in 1 hour drive away but that was all too difficult for them to arrange.
Totally frustrated & disappointed with F & P, without much expectation, I contacted the Good Guys Penrith store manager and told him of my situation. He called me back within 10 mins and happily offered to drop off another new washer and take to faulty one away THE NEXT DAY.
Wow, totally blown away and more than happy with this response. Thank you Good Guys Penrith and shame on the totally incompetent Fisher & Paykel warrantee call centre.
