The Gowland Awards

The Gowland Awards celebrate the tireless efforts of front-line domestic violence workers and denounce domestic violence deniers.

Now in its third year, the 2018 Gowland Awards will see two Gold Gowland Awards presented to individuals or organisations who display Exemplary Leadership in the Prevention of Domestic Violence, and in recognition of the strength of domestic violence victims and survivors
in every community across Australia.

The awards also call out DV deniers around the country with the presentation of the I Called It Out awards, where, with the help of your nominations, attendees will "Howl for a Gowl" to determine the worst examples and statements of domestic violence denial
