The Great Nosh Footrace Description

The Great NOSH Footrace is one of Sydney's oldest and best trail running events. Running along Middle Harbour using Two Creeks Track, Flat Rock Trail and Magazine Track, the NOSH is a traffic-free course from Lindfield Oval via Roseville Bridge to Seaforth Oval through some of Sydney's most spectacular bushland. Course length is 16km, mostly on bush tracks and fire trails, with some steep sections. Proceeds from the event go to Bennelong Northside Orienteers and Orienteering NSW to assist in running orienteering events throughout NSW.

An awesome day of adventure in Sydney's backyard. Congratulations to all of the participants in the Great NOSH. Running/walking through 16.5km of classic Sydney bush trails is a major achievement and a wonderful way to spend the morning. The top of the field set a cracking pace with the fastest time for many years being set today. Congratulations to 1st male, Jake Stollery (1:09:05)and 1st female, Robyn Bruin (1:23:55). We will be posting more photos in an album over the next 48 hours so please keep in touch here. Results: https://www.onlinetiming.com.au/2018-grea t-nosh-trail-run/…

Great run ... pretty hard for those not used to trail running (me!) but lovely scenic course and well run organised event. Some fruit at the end would have been welcomed esp for those that were running hard for 2 hours!
