The Grub Club

The Grub Club fund is a not-for-profit organisation set up to assist children overseas obtain an education, through support and resources such as books, paper, pens and pencils.

The Grub Club fund is a not-for-profit organisation set up to assist children from the Uruzgan Province and Timor Leste obtain an education through the supply of resources such as books, paper, pens and pencils.

Uruzgan Province is one of thirty four provinces in Afghanistan. Its capital is Tarin Kowt. Due to ongoing insurgency problems little aid gets through. Australia provides a Reconstruction Task Force (RTF) which works on reconstruction and community based projects.

Timor Leste a very new nation has an internal emphasis on primary school education but needs to develop other educational facilities, both secondary and tertiary for it's people to create real job opportunities.

The Grub Club has assisted the Fuan Nabilan School for the Blind in Same and is currently building a secondary school in Bei Cala.
