Lovely little place in a great spot. Super welcoming and best pies in Sydney! Super affordable - I got a coffee and a pie bigger than my face for $12 - also dogs are welcome which is good news for everyone.

User

Found the coffee good which to me is important, the service was good and the staff friendly

User

Overly expensive and totally not worth it! 1 plain crossiant + 1 snail + 2 bite size chocolate crossiants + 1 bottle of juice = $27! I'd would have totally sucked it up if they were remotely good but I can't even say they are better than the ones from other cafes/ supermarkets. Epic fail for me!! Attitude from the staff wasn't the best either!

User

Enjoyable food, very presentable only issue is that they forgot an order after we discussed it - otherwise no worries

User

Great pastry, freshly baked every day. Smells great. Taste is always good.

I got the shashuka for lunch and I must say that I scoffed down the whole plate. At first for $17 I thought this was a little pricey for what the dish is but it really is full of flavours and just large enough that your not over full but enough that you leave feeling satisfied.
Place does get a bit crowded and the tables had not been cleaned by staff but once she came around and we handed her the plates we were good to go.
Nice and sunny spot with big open windows to the street and full of light.

User

The food was good but the staff were ... grumpy. It was a long wait to get served and no table service. Very unhelpful staff

What a little gem!! If you're going to break your diet, don't settle for any second rate bakery - come to one of the best on the East Side!

I so wish I was 20kgs lighter and could've indulged more, the Grumpy Baker's Bacon and Egg roll is the BEST I'VE TASTED! The little cheese triangle was unnecessary to satisfy my hunger, but it spoke to me from inside the display cabinet - compelling me to eat it.

The breads coming out of the oven looked like bread should.

Definitely worth a try!!

User

Great rye bread. They do some nice hot cross buns around Easter too.

Coming in for breakfast wait times can be a bit long, but worth it.

They do have open seating but it all faces a roundabout which is on the way to Watson's bay, so lots of motorcycle and car noise. Take away and enjoy the lighthouse, park, and views nearby.

User

Utterly horrible. For a place called baker their pastries were worse than ordinary, coffee took 15 mins. I would recommend you NOT go here.

User

went here yesterday and had a tuna salad which was delicious but abit pricey. they dont put the prices for the drinks on the menu which is abit weird. was $42 for a salad, a chicken sandwhich and 2 teas.

User

Friendly staff. Bought a white loaf of sourdough. Alleged sourdough. Pretty shonky quality; looks nice but tasted like tiptop. Burns in the toaster easily which is a bad sign. Nothing nice to say about the coffee either! three stars for trying!

User

Tasty brownies and generous servings of Sausage rolls who's quantity matches the quality.

User

Great bread. Stunning pies. Excellent coffee. Only complaint is they don't open early enough
