YES you can!
You can freeze eggs (for up to one year) easily in your home freezer.
Try using ice cube trays to hold each egg. You can also freeze separated egg whites and yolks if you have any leftover from baking.
... When you're ready to use them, thaw the eggs out overnight in the fridge or under running cold water. Use egg yolks or whole eggs as soon as they're thawed.Use thawed frozen eggs only in dishes that are thoroughly cooked.

Cashew Sour Cream - A YUM and easy dairy-free sour cream alternative.
Takes: 5 Minutes... Makes: 1 cup
Ingredients ¾ cup cashews, soaked ¼ cup red capsicum, chopped ½ lemon, juiced 2 Tbs olive oil 1 Tbs cider vinegar ½ cup water ¾ tsp sea salt
To make: Place all ingredients in blender or food processor. Process until smooth.

You don't have to volunteer with us to be part of The Healthful Pantry. BUT you can!
We absolutely welcome helpers each packing day of the ordering cycle (every 6-7 weeks).
... The work is fun, easy and gives you a great insight into how we do what we do.
Likely, you'll be asked to don some gloves, pack dried fruit or nuts into bags and weigh them. Easy, huh?
You'll be 'working' with other like minded food and health conscious people - chat, laugh and learn more from each other as you go.
As a helper, you will receive a discount off your order PLUS you get to take your order home with you!
Next packing day is FRIDAY 20th July. If you can help at any time (even for an hour or two), from 8.30am - 12, we would LOVE to hear from you!

With many of us keen to reduce household plastic, have you wondered if you can use glass in the freezer?
The answer is YES.
BUT if you are going to freeze anything long-term in glass, make sure the glass is either tempered (the type used for canning jars) or specifically labeled for freezing.
... Since even freezer-safe glass can crack as food expands, always make sure to leave about 2-3 cm of space between the top of the food and the lid.
