The Hummingbird Centre

The Hummingbird Centre provides psychological assessment and treatment to people in Newcastle and the Hunter. This service is comprised of three Psychology Clinics located in Warners Bay, Redhead and Broadmeadow NSW.

The Hummingbird Centre provides holistic client care in a warm, non-judgmental and supportive environment. The focus of the centre is assessment and treatment of a range of conditions in children and adults. Dr Rickie Elliott (Clinical Psychologist) has over 10 years experience in working with children, parents and adults in a range of settings and is committed to providing holistic, individualised treatment that best meets the needs of clients and families. In particular, Rickie is highly trained and experienced in antenatal and postnatal mental health concerns, child behavioural concerns, child psychological conditions, parenting and attachment and bonding concerns and adult anxiety and trauma. Rickie also has expertise in developing specialised play programs that support the optimal development of infants and young children. Current Fees are $40. 50 per session with a Medicare Mental Health Care plan from your treating doctor. Please phone, email, fax or private message for appointments.
