The Huskisson

Nice Position in Huskisson but a pity about the food and food serving staff. Waited just over 1.5hours for a simple order of food and when asking the staff about the wait they were very rude. Upon receiving the food it was very ordinary and not what we had expected. Would not go back as there are other nicer, friendlier options available.

Terrible, terrible service... acknowledged they'd "misplaced" our order, even after we'd followed up twice, then became belligerent for us following up again after 2 hours... food was rubbish too

Disappointed to write such a poor review but if Management want to be aware of what’s happening in their establishment hopefully they will read and take note.

You’re hotel is in an amazing location with spectacular views but THATS IT. The food is atrocious. Ordered two chicken schnitzels after deciding to take in the perfect location of your hotel while visiting the beautiful south coast. The schnitzels are disgusting. $22 for an oil soaked piece of tough dry chicken. Seriously!!! It baffles me how a business has the perfect location and yet allows very very average food to be served. Management I would have paid $30 for a chicken schnitzel meal as long as it was delicious to eat. Instead my wife and I wasted $44 on two meals that left me feeling unwell the entire trip back to Sydney and into the night. My wife was smart and left most of her meal uneaten on the plate. Seriously Management your food menu and quality of food served need some serious attention!

Excellent venue, great options for gluten free. Fresh food great beer on tap and friendly staff. The best place in Husky.

Had dinner here, can get very busy and slow but the food is amazing hence all the people! Had the Aussie burger and chicky Burger. Were huge serves and cooked great. (Saw some massive schnitzels go past I'll be having one of those next time). Friendly staff. Would be great to have some heaters outside in winter but still great.

Amazing location doesn't make up for the lacklustre food and service. Pricey meals and an awkward order/collection process had us guessing what and where to go, as table service is not an option. Can't order drinks and food at the same time etc. The location truly is amazing, and well worth it for a drink on the deck overlooking the inlet.

Glad I did because the bar service was atrocious last night and a delight tonight. The guy last night (huge earrings guy if mgmt reading) obviously did not want to be at work. No hello, please, thank you, bye - nothing. I received, yes and 15 to my request and payment for two beers by visa. The fellow tonight (short in stature and attired) was full of good humour and service. Such a contrast.

Food was much better (and faster served) on Friday. Bit slapdash Saturday at 630pm. Pizza/chips was Friday, fish and salmon Saturday.

The twice cooked pork was so nice, the crackling was perfect. My husband and a friend had the scotch fillet steak and neither of them liked it. The meat was tough and fatty.

Very popular and for good reason. A long wait, but a good choice and very tasty. Honest fare
