It's about the booking system on the roof.....this has been my experience so far.



The first Sunday I went, no problem. The pizza was great and the roof worked perfectly when it started to rain.



Next Sunday we were met by a staff member at the top of the stairs. "You need to have a booking". This was despite the fact the place was empty.



OK! For the next week I made a booking nice and early. I booked online and the system reminded me that if I am 15mins late my table will be forfeit. Added to that I only have 2 hours before the table is given to someone else. OK......I was hoping for some pizza's and a nice afternoon with my friends. That might take more than 2 hours while I am spending PLENTY of money with you.



I called, not trusting the friendly booking system with it's free and easy attitude. Yes, they have my booking! Can I get a table in the courtyard? "No", was the reply. "They are reserved for larger groups." She replied,"It's council regulations." Now, I have seen the tables. There are some large ones around the sides but the ones in the middle were barely big enough for 4 people, wine and pizza. My booking was for 4. It was also news to me that Cover Moore was in the hospitality management business.



"Well, that makes no sense. The manager told me last week that you were trying to start up a Sunday arvo session like the Beresford" I explained while wondering why I was bothering. "Yeh, I know right!" came the response. The owners are just trying something new with bookings."



OK......so I spent $328.00 at Queen Chows in Enmore. It was amazing and we had a choice of tables even though they were super busy. I walked home via the Impy.....there were a LOT of free tables. I know you have a head limit on the rooftop. That's the same with any pub in a suburban area. The system you have in place is a total dud.



Can you kindly let me know when this stupid bookings system chases all the people away. I hate crowds.
