A group of us had the wednesday special today ..surf and turf..and an excellent meal for the price.
Everyone had a different request for their steak from rare to well done and everyone was happy with their meal and the service.
Definitely recommend the daily specials at The Kent

Always a laugh and full of interesting characters! Hate the new no work clothes rule though 😁

Great food and cheap, live band is awesome

Great for people on their mid 20's and 30s looking for a fun night out.

Small and cramped. Best during a week night or Sunday night.
Bouncers can be a bit pushy here and there are often issues.
Entertainment is reasonable. Meals also reasonable.

I personally don't like the place but always get dragged there by my friends. The recent renovations have it a much needed face lift.

Went there on a Saturday night, waited at the bar (up stairs) to be served for a good 10 minutes, my cousin comes(male & Polynesian) stands next to me & gets noticed by the bar tenders & gets service before others & myself. He then left & i continued to wait, After still being ignored & also failing to get any service I complained to the bar tender and got kicked out. I requested to speak to the manger & waited 30mins he came out and said he was too busy to talk to me & left. I demanded to speak to him again & continued to wait for him. Once he came out I told him the issue & he informed me that it doesn't sound right. He then informed me that I was aggressive, Making a complaint about the service not being fair will get you kicked out but falling drunk every where and barely stand up straight on your own is fine.

Food is good, with cheap beer
