Great place to have a few drinks. The live bands keep me coming back time and time again. Really chill atmosphere and just a general great vibe. The pies are awesome as well and will only set you back a fiver.

Great for an uncrowded drink and chat with mates. Usually some decent local gigs.
Decor hasn't been updated in forever. Not a wide selection of alcohol but they have the essentials.
Staff are always friendly and accommodating.
Great people and chilled vibe.

Food and beer are decent, live music is hit or miss - sometimes it is great, sometimes it is awful. A good place to meet up with mates regardless

The Lass always has great bands playing and interesting people to chat to. Staff are great, the beer is cold and the pies are salty and delicious!

Who doesn't love the Lass!?!? It's iconic Newcastle and one of the only "old man" style vintage unkept pubs left. And that's why everyone loves it! Amazing live music, good vibes and happy cheeky staff! Plus there's always beer and food so what more can you ask for? Atm, pool table, live music and a smoking section. They put on fun events and gigs and the outdoor beer garden goes for miles which makes for a great venue. Highly reccomend the Lass! You dont have to get dressed up to go here and it draws a wicked fun, non judgemental crowed.
