The meal was nice but I think. The Cook was overwhelmed and the sides wernt fresh.

The Loaded Dog Hotel is an 1800s hotel (maybe 1884?) and pretty much in its original structure. The bar and the restaurant are a lot of fun, and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. But don't expect an ensuite; this is an original hotel: the showers and toilets are just down the hall.
I haven't experienced their monthly music night but that will be my next overnight stay.
And it's very economic: $40/person/night (Dec. 2016) and that includes helping yourself to cereal, juice and coffee in the kitchen the nest morning. Cool, eh!
