In addition to our recent post - Chloe, Ally & Casey at The Lolly Bug would just like extend a big thank you for everyone’s help & support with our fundraising night for Rural Aid starting with - - Hartley Valley Holiday Farm for providing the venue & donating a family horse trail ride. - Roger - our Hypnotist for a great show & providing his services & travel costs free of charge to bring the night together. ... - Bruce Tonning from Blackheath Butchery; not only did Bruce donate a significant portion of quality sausages for our BBQ but generously added a HUGE meat tray for us to raffle! - The Thompson’s @ Thompson’s Bolts & Bearings for jumping on board & helping with the organising of the night, collecting other donations & services & cooking the BBQ. - The heart of The Lolly Bug, Sharon Tofler (I can see her blushing & deeming this praise unnecessary) but a MASSIVE thank you is required. Sharon has not only donated multiple raffle baskets over the last couple of months to other Rural Aid fundraisers she has also been the back bone of organising ours. In addition to continuing her everyday management of The Lolly Bug she has juggled registering our event with Rural Aid, arranging insurances, allowing her staff to gather, arrange & wrap prizes etc during working hours & a lot more behind the scenes to make the night possible!

Wow - so many generous donations from so many local businesses for our hypnosis night buy-a-bale fundraiser next Saturday 22nd September. We will be acknowledging them all over the next few days - grateful for each and every one. Going for auction on the night this ‘mighty helpful’ chainsaw package from Blackheath @mitre10 valued at over $250 and a fantastic cellar door trail ride valued at $300 from @eurokahorseriding.

The Lolly Bug has registered with Rural Aid to raise money for our drought stricken farmers. Among other things we are holding a monthly raffle. Drawn 1st September in time for Father’s Day our first monthly draw a yummy collection of gourmet and sweet treats - tickets $2 each or 3 for $5.
