Hey Guys, we have done a recent update of our operating hours recently. We have been approached to do a great deal of private functions throughout the weekdays over the past few months. We have decided to take a lot of these functions on board. This has been a fantastic decision for us and we are really excited to offer up great packages to our clientele. We offer amazing deals for private functions, and if you have been to our venue, you would understand why. We have a gr...eat focus on events and have been really pushing this aspect of our venue so that we can continue to offer a great range of regular trade throughout the weekend. We would invite anyone who has an interest in a function to contact us personally to discuss, as this is what we specialise in. We can only offer space to 80 people, so sorry for those that have enquired regarding larger events! We are awesome, but not that awesome!! We will continue to be open for regular trade from Thursday to Sunday, still offering our amazing cocktail and cheese list, amazing Rum Back Bar, still doing our Jazz on Thursdays. We will still be closing on Monday and Tuesday, but offer the venue on closed days to any kind of function. Our Rum Distillery is now 'booming' , and we are so excited to soon be launching our product into the Brisbane and Australian market. Please watch this space, as we are about to take the Brisbane and Australian Rum scene by storm!!!

Hey there guys,
The next edition of the Malecon Bars rum events comes to you in the form of a collaboration with Appleton Estate promoting small scale sustainability in bars. For this event were going to be collecting some of the natural waste from The legends at Maker, Jungle Bar, The End and Seymour's. Were going to pac this waste into the column of our still and vapour infuse an aperitif from the waste ! There will be some great information on how bars can minimise their impact and utilise some of the waste they create in interesting ways. Mr Jay Lambert will also be there to talk everything Appleton and we will be slinging some very hospo friendly drinks from behind the bar. So come along and join us for a lovely afternoon of sipping or rum and learning how to utilise your trash for something speical.
