The Market Tales

The Market Tales is an exciting new quarterly curated design and pop up food boutique market event happening December 16 & 17 at Precinct75, 75 Mary Street, St Peters- $2 entry.

Come join us for our Spring Edition of The Market Tales. Serving a star-studded line-up of pop-up restaurants and a newly curated team of quality makers and merchants across homewares, fashion, design, art, jewellery, furniture and vintage memorabilia.

Reminiscent of Portobello Markets and NY Williamsburg Market and sprinkled with the sights and sounds of the mercados in Spain, The Market Tales finds its home amongst the laneways of Sydney’s best-kept secret, Precinct 75 in St Peters. Dubbed Inner West’s newest design central and fast becoming a key entertainment hub, the Precinct boasts retail homeware gems like Design Twins, The Society Inc, Artisan and Quercus & Co and boutique alcohol artisans, Willie The Boatman and Urban Winery.

Be entertained by local musicians and enjoy and expect the not-so-traditional stalls at every market with alcohol tastings, braiding and a bike repairs doing the rounds of the quarterly offering.

The environmental management of the market is still key to our ethos and as such we continue to partner with Take 3 For The Sea and endeavour to make this a minimal waste event.

TRAIN STATIONS
Sydenham Station is 900m from Precinct 75 - 6 min Walk
St Peters Station is 1. 2 km from Precinct 75 - 10 min Walk

BUSES - Run regularly along the Princes Hwy and stop near Edith St, a short walk to Precinct 75.

CYCLISTS - Bike racks located near the main carpark, in between Buildings 9 & 10.

ENTRY POINTS - There are two The Market Tales entry points, 70 Edith Street and 75 Mary Street. Walk, cycle or be dropped off at either entry.

PARKING - Our main car park entry is off Edith Street and clearly sign posted (no vehicle access from Mary Street on Market days) however, on site parking is very limited. As Mary Street is a One Way street and Edith Street is a narrow residential street, we recommend parking on the main street, Unwins Bridge Road which has unrestricted parking on weekends. NB Please be kind to our neighbours and not park them in.

TOILETS - The Market Tales is well equipped with toilets.

DISABLE ACCESS - Precinct 75 is a disable accessible venue.
