Food was delicious, service very friendly. The new outside area looks very inviting, however we had a few problems here. The graveled area looks good but the metal chairs are not stable enough. It was difficult to get the chairs to sit firmly on the gravel resulting in a few wobbles and one of us totally tipping over and luckily not hurt. Unfortunately no one seemed interested in our concerns which is a shame as they will loose out if they don't listen to the customer.

We will go and try again but will steer clear of the new outside area.

Cute cafe. Good food and coffee. Lots of pudoor seating.

A nice stop for a light snack breakfast or lunch. Food is sourced locally so good to support local growers

October 2017 update: on our latest visit the food quality had fallen. Still good, but not quite great.

Recently under new management and the new owners are modernising the operation (taking orders on tablets and what-have-you), which I think detracts from the quaint experience that the old Muffin Shop had. They have chosen a retro-automotive theme.

The menu is quite sophisticated for a small town café, and they clearly have some talent in the kitchen. The big brekky is near perfect, with bacon to die for. For lunch, try the Moroccan spiced pulled lamb with cauliflower rice pilaf is excellent.

This café is a coup for Mossy Point.

Visited this cafe after being away for a year. Since it has changed hands, it is not the same. I was disappointed that the majority of their cakes and slices were not home baked like they once were. Instead they were standard options you could choose from any coffee shop. Please bring back the magic and lure us to more home baked delights.

A nice old building in a peaceful, leafy suburb with some comfortable and shady seating. Order at the counter and the wait staff bring your meals. They seemed to get the timing right for all our food - 6 adults and 6 kids split into two separate orders. I've only had brunch here and, while competent, it lacks spark.

There is an art gallery attached which is well worth a visit after your meal.

Great coffee and yummy raspberry and white chocolate muffins. Was a bit of a wait for the coffee but it was one of the best coffee's I've had.. worth the wait.. great atmosphere and cool little galley to browse while there.
