Crafted by Executive Chef Jordan Toft, and pizza maestro Vincenzo Biondini, The Newport’s diverse marketplace of food experiences include Australian grass-fed beef burgers, ever-classic fish and chips, wood-fired pizzas, and a wide range of fresh salads. As well as an extensive wine, beer and cocktail list, fresh juices, smoothies, milkshakes, and freshly-brewed coffee by Sydney roasters Will & Co.

For children and the young at heart, The Newport features a games area reminiscent of a vintage gymnasium – think badminton, ping pong, a giant magnetic Scrabble board, and exercise bikes that can charge mobile phones. The Newport also offers an exciting programme of free events and activities, with live music at the heart of the entertainment experience.

An amazing hotel. Good menus from all bars and restaurants. Lacking in vegetarian/vegan options. Great cocktails and great staff.

The Newport arms was always the best pub on the northern beaches. I live on the other side of Sydney and I used to go over to the Newport arms to meet my girlfriend every Thursday night after work. Now when we go there we remenice about all the best times we had. Been married 25 years and the Newport is still the place to go.. The food is great The service is great and the location was always great.

One of my favourite places - especially on a beautiful sunny day. Spent the day on the faux grass and sun chairs under big beach umbrellas and it was a truly spectacular way to spend the day after our wedding! Food is nice too. A little pricey but for the view it's worth it. Love the arms!!

UPDATE: More recently with new merivale ownership it's even better! So easy to spend the day here, yummy food and love the different food shacks with specialty food and drink!! Still 5 star if not 6 now!!

Great atmosphere for casual dining. It can be a little noisy with live bands and a DJ.
Attended on a Saturday night with my family. Would recommend going early if you have kids ie 5pm-6pm.
It starts to get busy with the party crowd from 630pm.

This place is amazing! It's a haven for food and wine lovers. Great views. We went there on the weekend and there was live music. So fun! I got the Vietnamese banh mi sandwich and it was so good!

Great new layout. The separation of bars and food areas in pavilion style works well to manage busy times. Wide variety of food options and seating area styles.

Very good atmosphere in variety of setting within the complex. The alfresco dining area has stunning views to the Pittwater. The food is fresh and diverse...something for everyone. The staff are friendly and efficient

First time I've been since it was renovated. It was a rainy evening so couldn't enjoy the view but everything else looked so different but nice. Awesome selection of beers on tap and had a pizza from the wood fired oven which was very tasty.

Once called the Newport Arms, the Newport received a very large upgrade. It has more of a resort feel than the casual of old. Parking is very convenient with a parking lot on the street, but parking also available in the rear. The facility is broken into different themed food areas, which can make difficult for a family to order what they want (you have to visit each place separately to order).
