Under New Management this place has character and an ability to be amazing Situated on the peacful side of life at St Georges Basin a venue for romantic dinners party functions with optional patio alfresco dinning .

Amazing food. Great coffee (both beans and barista). Freshly made desserts. Friendly staff. Great view on the water. Well done on a great job running this place.

Disappointed lunch menu. New owners saving on quantity. High prices.
We used to like the Pelican Restaurant and we are local, so we decided to go again on a Sunday at lunch time. We booked a table and it was good as the place was full.
We ordered as entree the prawn cocktail for $10,50 and as a main cannelloni for $16 and salmon for $22,50. We had two coffees on top. Our bill was nearly $60.

There were 4 prawns, a tasteless salad and a sweet pastry around the salad. Not enough and less than average.
The mains were not even better. The salmon was a mini portion. Plenty of green salad with nuts but not very tasty. The cannelloni were only one and on top plenty of green salad. So we had a lot of salad but not much food.
When I gave the new owner my feed back, she did not make any comments. She only confirmed that at dinner they do offer two cannelloni! But she did not make any attempt to make an unhappy custom, happy.

I think they do not have much experience in the business and they try to go around serving small quantities. We will not go again and it is a pity as we were looking forward to have an alternative place to go to Huskisson.

The location of this restaurant is great for lunches. New owners have taken over but new menu is not coming until October.
We had a good steak sandwich from the old menu and sat outside in the sun to eat. Very pleasant.

Went there on a Thursday night at 830pm and was told that the Chef and gone home for the day. Opening hours should have been updated.

Friendly staff with a homely atmosphere. Both indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy the views of the basin. The wide variety of food is of high quality and sizeable portions.

Food fantastic every time we go. Staff friendly and efficient, fantastic seating outside under cover. Definatly recommended to go
