The Purple Carrot is a cafe /restaurant located in the main street of beautiful Bellingen! It has a relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, affordable meals & seasonal menus with a focus on high quality produce, sourcing locally & organically where possible

Fresh, sustainable, local and organic.
We try to source all of our produce from a combination of our own gardens and local growers, taking into account the entire life cycle of the products that go into both us and you.
We use a signature blend of certified organic, fairtrade and directly traded Amelia Franklin Specialty coffee, locally roasted in Bellingen - quality fairtrade organic roasters can be difficult to find considering the limitations in crop variety, but we're lucky to have quality fairtrade. organic espresso produced right here in Bellingen.
We're also happy to accommodate special dietary requirements, if you're vegan, gluten intolerant, lactose intolerant or have any other sort of dietary requirements. . . . we can probably do it.
Free wifi is available for those with a constant fear of being disconnected. . .

We are opening each evening for quick yummy take away meals for lunch $10 cous cous bean & veggies salad. Moroccan chicken & roast veggie salad.
