The Retirement Planning Association Description

WHO IS THE RETIREMENT PLANNING ASSOCIATION OF AUSTRALASIA

The Retirement Planning Association (RPAA) provides Financial Education on Property Investment, Retirement Planning and other Wealth Creation strategies. RPAA is a consumer group committed to the well-being of those people building wealth for retirement, approaching retirement or those people already retired. We help our RPAA members and their families preserve, protect and grow their wealth. We do this by providing, discussing and explaining proven "Property Investment", “Wealth Creation” and “Retirement Planning” strategies.

We specialize in the provision of Financial Education and information by publishing a series of RPAA newsletters, running Financial Education workshops and education seminars for members and their families. We teach people about planning for their retirement, and how they can take control of their own financial situation by learning about Financial Education.

The Retirement Planning Association provides education workshops in most major cities and some regional areas. If you would like to attend one of our free workshops on retirement planning or investments, please feel free to register on our website or contact us.

Most people in their thirties and forties find life hectic in terms of time, emotions, health and finances. In general, responsibilities are mounting, and there seems to be precious little time and money left over for anything other than the necessities. Health issues can start to emerge just when we need to be stronger and fitter than ever, because so many people are relying on us now. It can also be a time when we start to feel restricted by all these pressures and responsibilities.

Managing your finances at this stage of life is more critical than ever, but where do you find the time? You can see the need to get ahead and start creating wealth through super and investing.

Most people in their forties or early fifties really start to see the world differently. Sometimes we feel that we're past the halfway mark. But, for whatever the reason, at some stage retirement appears on the horizon. It's could still be a long way off, but it's no longer an idea, it is a reality. There is now only a limited time to get ourselves ready and into a position where we can retire comfortably. Meanwhile life goes on at a pace that seems to just keep accelerating.

This is a period of major change for most people. Some people due to the recent and continuing global financial crisis, now plan on deferring their retirement and may keep working until in their 70s. Others may want to start winding back as soon as possible. For many people, the family home suddenly appears a bit empty once the children have left home and a number of lifestyle options can emerge. A lot of people at this stage of life may think it's too late to boost their retirement nest egg, but in most cases you would be wrong. With expert education, advice and assistance, there's so much that you can do to get the most out of life.

With our Financial Education programs and services, we feel members can save time by reducing the hard-work and the leg-work. Making the shift from working to retirement or semi-retirement is a big decision and for many people, can be very stressful. There is a lot at stake and no time left to change or fix things if you get it all wrong. Never has there been a more challenging time to get the right information, education, assistance and expert advice.
