The Sacred Yoni

The SacRed Yoni, by Kirrilee Heartman and Yia Alias, is a way to connect with the feminine power in each woman through traditional crafts reimagined.

The SacRed YONI began years ago when Kirrilee made a YONI art piece in honour of Yia's Harvest Ceremony. In 2014, that one piece evolved into a workshop idea with Kirrilee and Yia as co-facilitators.

Kirrilee brings her extensive craft skills and craft workshop leading experience, as well as a knowledge of the history of subversive crafting and of feminism.

Yia brings her extensive experience as a counselor, facilitator of ceremonies for women which honor the stages and transformations of life, Red Tent events through the Women's Shed in Dural, Sydney, and skills as a visual artist.

Together our skills combine to hold space for women to experience the deep, creative and transformative experience that is Crafting a SacRed YONI!
