DON'T EAT HERE!!! MAGGOTS IN YOUR FOOD!!!!!!!
I was yesterday with a bunch of people in the "stoned crow" and we all had dinner - I wasn't the first time here and I quite liked this pub/bar. That was the reason why I recommended that pub to my friends. Anyway… I was very hungry and had the “Mighty Cheeseburger”, after eating half of this burger I had a MAGGOT!! sitting on top of my hand. I was speechless for a moment, put then the burger back on the plate, lifted the top and saw another one in the burger. I was close to vomit!!!!! I told the waitress, she had no idea how to handle this situation… she didn’t returned to us and no one said sorry to us… 100% disappointed. Imagen how it looks like in the kitchen….. Never eat here again.

Yesterday I went to hear a musician friend perform at the Stoned Crow. He was booked to perform from 3 to 6 pm. My friend has performed for many years in Japan, Switzerland and Germany and at International Hotels in Sydney. I drove for 75 minutes to attend his performance and with his other friends who were visiting from Interstate.

The manager, after having my friend set up his musical equipment, instructed him not to play as she said she was happy with the existing vibe. 30 minutes later, I asked one of the waitresses when my friend would start his performance. This waitress advised me that my friend would not perform. I expressed my displeasure at this and my opinion that this was most unfair to my musician friend and his group of fans / friends who had come to the venue to hear him perform.

The waitress then summoned a male manager who requested that I leave the venue. I made a telephone complaint later that night only to discover that the waitress had falsely claimed that I had been rude to her.

My advice if you want to spend time at this venue: never make a complaint or express your disdain at how poorly they treat musicians and their fans.

I work in St Leonards and visit the Stoned Crow regularly. I came for lunch this week with my team.
Everything was great. The food and service at The Stoned Crow is always good. My only issue was what I ordered this time round.
I am unable to eat any animal products for health reasons, so I ordered the roast veg salad without the cheese. I paid $19 for some greens, a couple of pieces of sweet potato, not even a whole beetroot... It flaws me how you can charge so much money for a bowl of vegetables... It was good, but I can't see any value for money.

The food was great (had the Mighty Cheeseburger). Not a big selection of beers though. Live music and cool place.

Good food. Amazing pizza - would even recommend the pizza over here well above some Italian pizzeria! Nice interiors and vibe. Would recommend as a great place to catch up after work or even host a party!

Nice atmosphere, great drink selection, nice food, friendly staff.

The Peking Duck Pizza was the bomb! I wish I had ordered the large! Compliments to the Chef! A great place to eat & drink 😊

Went to eat on Monday night which is steak night. The steak was cooked perfectly and the chips were really nice. The salad was way overdressed though. I think it's dodgey that you have to pay $2 for gravy though when it's such a standard thing. Servers were friendly though and there wasn't much of a wait.

Great rock vibes paired with good service!! The waiters are proactive and genuinely interested in crafting a good customer experience. The menu shows moderate variety and the staff know their menus. If you fail to choose, just ask for recommendations. Daily specials available!!
