The Valley Plaza Medical Centre

I have attended this medical centre recently, I had to wait 3 hours. The receptionist told me that I will wait approximately 2 hours. My back started hurting me from sitting for very long in their uncomfortable chairs. Before, they used to have appointment based system, I was able to make an appointment with any doctor either days before or on the same day. It is very disappointing that they are using walk-in system now. When we are attending this medical centre, we are attending as patients which means we are unable to sit there and wait for too long. The receptionists say you need to come very early in the morning to see a doctor early, but this is not true. If you're there at 8:30am you still need to wait minimum 1 hour. I really do not recommend anyone to attend this medical centre.

Absoult waste of time rang to see dr ong and put my sons name down waited 3 hours and then he didnt want to fill out a form or my sons referral for gentetics doctor i will calling the medical board and reporting him absoult disgraceful practice and there receptionist are rude and shouldnt work with people

Avoid Dr. Sorani - he's not interested in helping you. Seems to be keen in high turnover (more $$$$).
5 months after I got blood tests there, I finally returned for results, plus several issues I wanted resolved including a terrible flu that wouldn't go away.
He dismissed all my questions with answers I could have got from asking a friend what they thought the issues might be.

When I asked about waking up in middle of night and difficulty returning to sleep, he said he doesn't prescribe sleeping pills. I said I didn't ask for it, I'm after a solution. He answered 'change your habits'. 'How?'. 'Warm bath, reading, relaxing music'. 'I've tried that.' 'Change your habits'.

Complete waste of time. No resolution to any issue.

AVOID THIS MEDICAL CENTRE AT ALL COSTS!!!

I have been here multiple times as I live literally around the corner. And I am currently here again as I write this review.

Same as usual. There are 3 incompetent receptionists and only 1 doctor on duty. Every single time I've been to this medical centre the staff have been rude and dismissive... and I'm a nice person and I give them no reason to act in such a way.

The waiting room is always full of people who have been waiting too long to see a doctor. I've already been here for over 2 hours and other patients longer. What amazes me is some patients who walked in after us (no bookings) have gone in to see doctors before us.

Get your act together Valley Plaza Medical. It really says alot when your most popular doctor (Dr Sorani) refuses to take bookings and literally worked 1 hour this Saturday and decided to go home.

NEVER AGAIN! I'd rather drive an extra 10 minutes.
