Valve Bar & Venue, at 871 George Street, Sydney (at Agincourt Hotel), was created for emerging artists from all genres: Dubstep, DnB, Trance, House, Hip-Hop, Funk, Dub, Reggae, Punk, Hardcore, Grunge, Death, Grind, Metal, and the list goes on.
Originally opened and operated in Wellington, NZ, Valve gave birth to bands such as Shihad, The Black Seeds, Trinity Roots, The Upbeats, Fur Patrol, Akaname; and had the pleasure of hosting Hatebreed, Throwdown, Darkest Hour, Pungent Stench, and thousands of other phenomenal live acts over a decade.
Now open in Sydney, Valve Bar & Venue offers the best PA, lighting, art and atmosphere of any comparably sized venue - A music embracing attitude in the only venue of its kind unspoilt by gaming / pokie palace presence - A home for unpretentious, non-conformist, non-superficial art.
